Sally Ketchum

I am an old pro, journalist, published writer, and former teacher of writing (2 colleges). I've just written a 55 page book proposal for a COMIC genre-crossing novel. It is also a parody of Homer. Title: POUNDS, DOWN! The Odyssey of Diet Hero and His Faithful Companion. (The latter is a Jack Russell Terrier named POUNDS.) I must write great queries. So far all receivers have asked for the proposals. But still, I have no agent. Comedy must be a small niche.

People say I am funny (I know I'm out of the box a lot, and love to be zany. I dream wildly.) and some say I am eccentric. I have a bad hearing loss. Ironically, that helps to make me a funny speaker. I was a much awarded teacher because I always answered questions that the students hadn't asked. I need an honest and respected agent. No fees, please.
