Description

Upload your query and your novel and have them judged by Amazon readers and professional writers and editors. If your query gets you rejected from the competition, I don't believe you receive much of a critique. The critique received at the first round of book rejections isn't much either, but you can also load your sample for other competitors to critique and I found that incredibly helpful. I was able to get a percentile score on what worked and what didn't.

Did anybody enter this last year?

I did and was part of the "You made it to the second round, oh wait, no you didn't. Our bad. Here's a $5 Amazon gift card for your trouble," debacle...

I was miffed certainly, but still think it's a great idea for a contest.

Was wondering what other people's experiences were?

Yes, I entered this contest. Like the last replier, they contacted me that I had made it to the second round, only to be contacted later that it was a mistake.

Overall it was a good contest and certainly built up the suspense and excitement with the waiting between rounds.
